Accomplishments & Accolades

We are proud that Human Action Network members are such an accomplished lot, but sometimes even we are surprised by their achievements. Our congratulations go out to two such HAN members…

  • Tammi Kannar (LSC 01) works as a legislative director for a Texas State House Representative. She works primarily on tort reform issues and says the legislature recently passed sweeping tort reform measures to rein in a lot of abusive practices that were making Texas one of the lawsuit meccas of the country
  • John M. Brendel (LSC 95) is serving a two-year appointment as law clerk to Senior United States District Judge Ann Aldrich (Northern District of Ohio). He previously served two judicial clerkships: 1999-2001 for United States District Judge Ricardo M. Urbina (Washington, D.C.) and 1995-1996 for Presiding Judge Michael Patrick King, New Jersey Appellate Division.

Please keep IJ and HAN apprised of your professional work and any activities that promote the cause of individual liberty so that we may credit you in a future issue of HANews. Contact us at general@ij.org.
