STEP INTO THE RING TO SAVE OUR PROPERTY

On June 19, 2007 the Community Youth Athletic Center (CYAC) and its kids are taking on their toughest opponent yet: City Hall. The city wants to blight our businesses and homes and we need you in our corner. Come to the rally and public hearing to fight this injustice. We're not just stepping into the ring for ourselves, we're stepping into the ring for everyone who stands to lose a home, business, farm or church in California.

SAVE OUR HOMES

The CYAC needs your help. The City wants to declare most of National City "blighted." They think that our homes and businesses are no good. This is an insult to everyone who lives and works here. All over California, cities take property from ordinary people and give it to rich developers. You can make a difference. WRITE a letter and attend the RALLY.

SAVE OUR BUSINESSES

Your business is in danger. The City wants to declare most of National City "blighted" so it can take small businesses and give the land to rich, private developers like Home Depot. They are taking away the American Dream and your business is on the chopping block. If you don't get involved now you will lose your right to challenge the "blight" declaration and the City will be able to take your business whenever it wants to. WRITE a letter and attend the RALLY and PUBLIC HEARING.

For more information, contact the CYAC after 5pm at (619) 474-CYAC or the Institute for Justice at (703) 682-9320.
