Constitutional Litigator/Staff Attorney |

The Institute for Justice, the nation’s leading libertarian public interest law firm, is seeking a staff attorney to join its merry band of litigators in its Arlington, Va. headquarters. IJ litigates cutting-edge constitutional cases in the areas of private property rights, economic liberty, school choice, and free speech in both state and federal courts nationwide. We’ve litigated three cases before the U.S. Supreme Court including the Kelo eminent domain case and have petitioned for cert. on three others this term, one of which has already been accepted. We seek attorneys with 0-4 years of litigation experience, excellent communication skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, solid academic records, a passion for freedom, and a good sense of humor. Strategic Research Intern |

The Institute for Justice seeks an unpaid research intern for its strategic research program, to begin immediately. The internship will include data collection and analysis for research projects. The ideal candidate will have facility in mining online databases and data sources, ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets, and persistence and good judgment in soliciting information and data from state and non-profit agencies. Based in Arlington, Va., the Institute for Justice is the nation’s leading libertarian public interest law firm, litigating to defend property rights, economic liberty, First Amendment freedoms and school choice. Its strategic research program is a unique initiative that combines high-quality social science and policy research with IJ’s cutting-edge litigation. Institute for Justice Maffucci Fellowships |

The Institute for Justice is seeking fellows for its internship program. Two positions are available: one focuses exclusively on the Castle Coalition and eminent domain, and the other works on all four of IJ's pillars. The fellowship includes assisting with exciting research projects, helping track situations and legislation across the country, and providing valuable administrative support to staff on a variety of tasks. Interns gain inimitable experience on the front lines of the fight for liberty. |
